Throughout his career, Hussein Hassan has held leadership and advisory positions with governments in Arab countries and prestigious international organizations, including United Nations entities such as the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). He is a registered international expert in crisis prevention and management with the UNDP. Hussein Hassan has extensive practical experience in research, capacity building, project management, and financing with regional and international organizations such as the European Union (EU), the World Bank (WB), the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), Transparency International (TI), the Revenue Watch Institute (RWI), and the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD). Hussein Hassan has also served as a legal consultant for numerous major economic and investment institutions, including the Qatar Free Zones Authority, where he provided his services for four years. Additionally, he has significant experience in litigation before specialized economic and investment courts.
He provides specialized training for senior executives and decision-makers in negotiation, dispute resolution, international contracts, and business ethics, contributing to enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of leaders in various work environments. Hussein Hassan possesses an extensive network of national and international experts and decision-makers in Arab countries, donor countries, and international organizations. He has advanced skills in leadership, strategic planning, negotiation in times of crisis, and the ability to work in diverse work environments. Hussein Hassan is also the founder and CEO of the Life and Peace Foundation for Development, an organization dedicated to providing legal support to vulnerable and marginalized groups, empowering them, and contributing to social and economic justice.
